Our Philosophy: Blessed Star has adopted the teaching methods of Dr. Maria Montessori, who recognized the child’s spontaneous urge to learn and to seek information. Like Dr. Montessori, we believe children are naturally curious and eager to find order in their world. When placed in an enriching environment, they are capable of absorbing knowledge and have the power to teach themselves. They experience joy and happiness as they unlock the secrets of the universe. We encourage children to participate in age-appropriate, exploratory activities that promote their development. To enhance their spiritual lives, we want all children to become accustomed to praying, learning about God, and singing Bible songs.

The mission of Blessed Star Montessori Christian School is to provide all children with a safe, nurturing, fun, God-centered learning environment. We strive for a solid foundation in intellectual growth, goodwill, Christian belief, and peace. Our innovative academic program is rooted in the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1951), Italy’s first female certified physician and pioneer in early childhood education.

- Early Care: 7:30 am-8:30 am
- Rising Star classes: 8:30 am-2:30 pm
- Super Star classes: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
- Extended Hours: 2:30 pm-5:30 pm
- Every 1st first Friday of the month is an early release day. Children must be picked up by 3:15 pm. If you need extended care, it will be available for $5. Please let the staff know prior to Friday if you will need this service.
