Our Philosophy

Blessed Star has adopted the teaching methods of Dr. Maria Montessori, who recognized the child's spontaneous urge to learn and to seek information. Like Dr. Montessori, we believe children are naturally curious and eager to find order in their world. When placed in an enriching environment, they are capable of absorbing knowledge and have the power to teach themselves. They experience joy and happiness as they unlock the secrets of the universe.  We encourage children to participate in age-appropriate, exploratory activities that promote their development. To enhance their spiritual lives, we want all children to become accustomed to praying, learning about God, and singing Bible songs.
